Continuing Legal Education
The Continuing Legal Education Department (CLE) of the Stark County Bar Association provides a wide variety of programs and conferences to meet your professional education requirements. It is our goal to offer enough CLE hours to our membership that a Stark County Attorney never has to leave the county to obtain the required CLE hours. A variety of formats include noon classes, three-hour seminars and full day seminars. We offer a substantial amount of seminars in December to meet the end-of-year demand. All programs meet the requirements and follow the guidelines set forth by the Ohio Supreme Court Commission on CLE.
SCBA attorney members, Associate members (Law Students, Law School Graduates, Legal Administrators, and Paralegals) and non-member attorneys are welcome to attend all CLE events.
The Stark County Bar Association relies on its committees, organized according to specialty areas of law, to provide various CLE seminars and programs. The committees organize, coordinate, create, sponsor, and participate as speakers in their areas of expertise to provide high-quality educational programs sponsored by the Stark County Bar Association. Committee membership is open to our members and provides excellent opportunities for education, networking and professional development.
For other CLE related questions not addressed here, please e-mail our CLE Director at SCB@StarkCtyBar.com or call the Stark County Bar Association office at 330-453-0685 Monday through Friday during the business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
